Ambria McGregor

2006-2022

Ambria was born in October of 2006.  From the very first time she opened her beautiful brown eyes, she had a certain sparkle, a zest for life that everyone could see.  She truly lived life to the fullest…fully embodied the phrase, “seize the day.”  She seized every moment.   She loved singing, dancing., and listening to music.  She truly had a smile that lit up the room, and a laugh that was contagious.  She enjoyed hiking, running in the rain, vacationing at the beach, and capturing sunsets.

Ambria loved school from the time she was a little girl; she truly enjoyed learning in all aspects.  She took responsibility for her education from the beginning and remained a Principal’s List student throughout her school career.

In addition to her love of learning, she had a great love for the game of volleyball.  She was dedicated, and she worked incredibly hard.  She was a great player and a wonderful teammate.  She owned her mistakes when she made them & encouraged others when they messed up.  This always made us proud, but our favorite character trait has always been her loving heart.

Ambria began her walk with God at a very young age.  As soon as she could read, she would read the, “Dear God,” books aloud to me at night, then we would talk about it, and say our prayers.  She joined the guest experience team with me at Crosspoint Church, and we served together for several years.  As she got older, she continued to read her Bible and journal regularly.  She then got involved with the youth group at Hermitage Church of the Nazarene where she continued to grow in her relationship with Christ and developed lifelong friendships.

Ambria prided herself on being a good friend.  She made sure no one felt left out, and she truly radiated love everywhere she went.  Because of this, she was able to make an incredible impact in her short time on this Earth.  She continues to make an impact even now.  This is the reason for the formation of this organization.  We strive to continue to spread the love and light to others that she so graciously gave daily.  In doing so, we hope to keep her legacy alive and ensure she is never forgotten.
